Element Mom x Good+Foundation Social Impact Partnership

With Mother's Day right around the corner, we've been hard at work on our Mother's Day gift! It had to be something special, something big, a way for us to celebrate our mamas while giving back to our community. If you know us, you know how big we are on giving back! That is the whole purpose behind our MOM+1 initiative, to give back to the community we love so much.

That's why we're thrilled to officially announce our partnership with Good+Foundation, just in time for Mother's Day! In honor of all mothers, we are teaming up with Good+Foundation to donate over $100,000 of clean, mama-approved skincare to families in need nationwide. Good+Foundation shares our belief in the power of giving back and, through this partnership, has helped us realize our goal to bring skincare as self-care to underserved mamas across the U.S. The MOM+1 program is our way to tackle economic inequalities in the communities we serve. Element Mom matches every product purchased with a donation to an underserved mom, allowing us to provide zero-cost, safe, highly effective personal care products to our mama community. And, with Good+ Foundation by our side, we are now able to put these products into the hands of those mothers.

So, who is Good+Foundation? Let us introduce you properly! They're a leading national nonprofit that works to dismantle multi-generational poverty for low-income fathers, mothers, and caregivers. They help bring tangible goods to families across the country and in doing so create opportunities for these families to grow and flourish together.  They first launched in 2001 as founder Jessica Seinfeld searched for a way to donate her own gently used baby products. She ultimately created what would 21 years later become the beacon of hope that is Good+Foundation. Having donated over $80 million in essential goods to a national network of anti-poverty programs, you could say they're pro's when it comes to giving back!

Sounds like a match made in heaven, doesn't it? We've experienced first hand the hardships mothers face here in America. Not everyone has the time or means to focus on themselves, even for a moment. It can feel like a luxury we can't afford, something selfish and not worth the time or expense. With our MOM+1 program we set a goal, to tackle these inequalities and make skincare as self care accessible to all mamas. To help them realize that prioritizing your own needs and self care is not selfish but necessary for the health of not only mama but her whole family. This has become such a strong part of who we are as a brand, to the point that one of our core values is to Leave No Mama Behind. It's why we created our MOM+1 program to begin with, to work with amazing foundations and companies, like Good+Foundation, and have a tangible effect on our community.

And, because of the continued support from our customers across the U.S. and around the world, we are able to do just that, bringing clean, highly effective skincare products to our mamas from coast to coast.
